Big 'B' and Aby`s fans very upset !

If the 51st Filmfare Awards was the night of Black, there were also moments of blackout.

Several viewers, Amitabh Bachchan himself, noticed that each time Abhishek Bachchan came on TV, it went on the blink and instead of junior B all one got on the screen was static and a message saying no signal which would clears up after some seconds.

Millions of viewers around the world, Amitabh Bachchan included, were perplexed by scrambled signals during Abhishek's Filmfare appearance.

“It was very strange. We got home after the awards and were watching the telecast. Just when Abhishek's name was announced for Best Supporting actor, the screen just blanked out,” says Amitabh Bachchan.

"Miraculously the telecast came on again the second he walked off the stage. Again, just when his act was announced, the screen blanked out and miraculously telecast was revived again after his act".

"I thought it was a localised problem on my cable. Later I came to know that it was happening all over the country".

"My daughter called from Delhi to complain. Obviously this is much more than a local snag. I don't know what it was. But the TV going off just when Abhishek comes on… doesn't sound very right, does it?"

"It's discomforting that technology can let you down. If someone has done it deliberately, then it's taking rivalry too far. It's extremely petty",commented Amitabh Bachchan .

Industry sources close to Bachchan allege sabotage, but Sony TV spokespersons denied the allegation, saying it was a technical hazard.

Meanwhile furious Abhishek fans have been calling up various newspaper and channel offices and making known their displeasure known-

`The only thing, which kept us glued to the TV till late last night was Aby’s performance. We believe Abhishek gave a moving speech, which we missed. I was cursing my cable guy, but later I heard there was no signal and no one watched it either."
