Anara:Blue film to Bollywood flick.

The trauma of the 17-day custodial torture on being arrested by the Jammu police in 2004 still remains etched in her mind.
But this 20-year-old has decided to move on, in a rather different way - she has decided to relive her past.
Anara Gupta was arrested for allegedly being featured in a pornographic CD in 2004.
It was only after Hyderabad's forensic lab concluded that the girl featured in the CD was not Anara, that was she was eventually given a clean chit.
Her dream of being an IPS officer may have remained a dream, but Anara is all set to step into Bollywood.
'Miss Anara' - a film that she can truly say is her own - is based on the former Miss Jammu's life.
And although she claims that the film is her true story and there's nothing but the truth in it, there is space enough for the usual Bollywood item number.
Anara Gupta is not a trained dancer, but she is quick to catch the rhythm of tinsel town.
However, the soon-to-be actress says she has not forgotten her past and insists that she doesn't want to forget it either.
"I couldn't forget the past even if I wanted to. But I want to remember the past because it taught me a lesson," she says.
Despite her past experiences, Anara says she is sure that Bollywood's the place she wants to be in: "I like Mumbai and now I dont feel like going back to Jammu. I have shifted to Mumbai."
Yogesh Bharadwaj, the director of this 4-crore budget movie, gives a peek into the movie: "The film will have a happy ending because Anara has got a clean chit and it was proven that she was not involved in that sex racket and has finally got justice."
Miss Anara is slated for release this summer.
